Authorities in Abu Dhabi continue to show how they ensure food safety across all establishments that serve meals, including food trucks.
The Abu Dhabi Council for Quality and Conformity together with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, have jointly coordinated a campaign that conducts on-site quality control through laboratories on wheels.

A video posted by Emirates News Agency shows food inspectors collecting samples of cooked meals at the Al Hudayriyat Island to check their safety levels to ensure that they’re fit for public consumption.
The mobile laboratories conduct microbiological analyses to check the perishability and quality of each meal.
Both government agencies affirm that these efforts are part of the capital’s drive to promote safety and protect public health.
