Residents in the UAE will gradually feel warmer temperatures in the coming days this March.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts that March 21 will mark the first day of the spring equinox – which means that the sun’s direct rays will be perpendicular to the Equator, signaling that winter has already ended in the country.

The weather bureau furthered that the Indian monsoon low-pressure systems may also affect the country with the development of cumulonimbus clouds that are expected to bring rain with different intensities at internal areas.
Motorists are also warned of sandstorms that would lead to poor visibility as the weather transitions from cooler to warmer temperatures this month, due to westerly waves passing across the Arabian Gulf.

“It may deepen at times over the area, causing unstable weather conditions accompanied by cumulonimbus clouds, rain and fresh to strong winds, leading to widespread dust and rising sand with poor horizontal visibility — especially over open areas,” said the report from NCM.
Humidity is also expected to drop this March, particularly during the second half of the month. Experts estimate up to 52 per cent mean relative humidity, with chances of fog formations.
