A new public bus route has been launched in the emirate of Ajman, starting from Al Musalla bus station and passing through Nuaimiya until Sheikh Ammar Street.
A total of 10 buses with mobile phone chargers, Wi-Fi connection, and internal display screens was unveiled, as part of this move. The new route will pass through 11 bus stops in the emirate.
Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director-General of the Ajman Transport Authority (ATA), said the bus service will be available every half an hour, from 6:30 am until 10:30 pm.
This move was meant to “meet the growing demand for public bus services and to strengthen the bus route network within the emirate”.
Meanwhile, ATA also launched smart applications and online services in four languages – Arabic, English, Chinese and Urdu to allow commuters to book bus trips.
Passengers can get information for these new bus trips via WhatsApp at 600599997 or through the “Masar” app. Residents can also check for further updates through the website ta.gov.ae or through ATA’s social media channels.
