Valentine Rosales, one of the 11 people tagged in the death of Christine Dacera last January 1, took to social media to seek donations to pay for their lawyer.

On Twitter, Rosales said: “I would like to ask for your help to raise funds for me and my fellow friends who are struggling to finance a lawyer in assisting us in this situation & effectively defend us.”

As of this posting, his Twitter post has already garnered 7,000 retweets.

Rosales admitted that he was the person who was kissed by the 23-year-old flight attendant in front of their hotel room, as seen in CCTV footage released by the authorities.

In his defense, he said he did not take advantage of Dacera and instead slightly pushed her to stop the act.

Rosales claims to be Dacera’s friend along with 10 others, who admitted that they all joined her in a party in a hotel room on New Year’s Eve.

Three of them were released from police custody following the Makati Prosecutor’s order due to lack of evidence.
