Residents in Abu Dhabi can now enjoy shisha facilities at licensed cafes, restaurants, and other tourist service facilities after authorities have announced the resumption of services as of January 3.
The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development has outlined that only single-use shisha equipment and pipes will be allowed for usage and that smoking areas will be isolated.

Authorities also stressed that all establishments who were allowed to resume shisha serviecs are advised to increase the number of cleaning shifts in all smoking areas.
Sampling of shisha is also prohibited and all guests should follow all COVID-19 precautionary measures.
