The Dubai ruler said the country is the strongest because of its values of solidarity, tolerance and giving
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai shared that the UAE surpassed 2020’s challenges through its will as a nation that promotes the positive values of giving, tolerance, and solidarity among everyone living in the country.
“The year 2020 is a year that showed the true meaning of the principles we believe in as a nation. It united our families, our hearts and all our working teams to face the big challenge,” said His Highness.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid posted a video with his message on Twitter sharing the highlights as to how the UAE managed to tackle the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
The video highlighted measures such as the National Sterilization Program, repatriation efforts, sending support and aid planes around the world for COVID-19 supplies, the 10 Million Meals campaign, and more.
It also featured the country’s milestones that it has accomplished for 2020 including the launch of the Hope Probe, the Guinness World Record for the World’s Largest Fountain, the launch of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant, the inauguration of the Dubai Museum of the Future, and the Abraham Accords that normalized relations between the UAE and Israel.
