UPDATED: Health Secretary Francisco Duque III said the Philippine’s ban on countries with confirmed cases of the new COVID-19 variant has been expanded to 20 territories.
“We expanded the ban to 20 countries. Hahaba po ang listahahan na yan,” Duque told the media.
However, it turned out that meetings are still underway regarding the travel ban, as per presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.
Meanwhile to the most recent bulletin of the Department of Transportation, all travellers coming from these countries will be denied entry to the Philippines:

6. Ireland
7. Japan
8. Germany
9. Australia
10. Iceland
11. South Africa
12. Italy
