The Ministry of Health and Protection (MoHaP) recently conducted 153,157 COVID-19 tests that led to the discovery of 1,506 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 patients to 204,369.
The ministry also reported two patients who have died due to complications from COVID-19, which brings the country’s total death toll to 662.
MOHAP also reported 1,475 individuals who have already recovered from the coronavirus disease, with the total now at 181,400.
This brings the total number of active cases higher from 22,278 to 22,307 as of December 29.

The first batch of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccines shipment from Brussels has arrived in Dubai and based on the photos shared by the media office, airport staff can be seen offloading the shipment and shifting it to SkyPharma facility.
