An Indonesian mother has allegedly murdered her three toddler kids on December 9 due to the financial strains of caring for them, The Jakarta Post reported.
The 30-year-old woman allegedly slit their throats with a machete, according to Nias Police spokesperson First Adj. Insp. Yansen Hulu, adding that the bodies were discovered after the father, grandparents, and the kids’ older sibling returned home.
The police have since arrested the mother and took the machete reportedly used to commit the crime.
The victims were five, four and two years old.
