A Filipina domestic helper in Kuwait committed suicide after she learned that she tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19), local media reported.
According to her sponsor, she jumped from the second floor of their home upon learning about her diagnosis.
Her body had been recovered by security forces, where it was ruled that the death was caused by suicide.
