About 21 vehicles got into an accident on September 21 on Emirates Road due to fog, Al Bayan reported.
The accident occurred on the road going to Umm Al Quwain from Sharjah, injuring two people.
Medical team rushed to the area of the accident and provided the necessary treatment to the injured passengers.
Lt. Col. Mohammed Alai Al Naqbi, Director of Traffic and Patrol Department of Sharjah Police, reminded motorists and drivers to be more cautious especially during foggy conditions to avoid accidents—advising to drive slowly, use fog lights, and stop the car on the side of the road if there’s less visibility.
