Sharjah shuts down 13 establishments for printing illegal advertising cards related to massage parlors

Sharjah Police tracked 13 establishments and a warehouse for printing and distributing advertisement cards of massage parlors and other services in the emirate.

Authorities, together with officials from the Sharjah Economic Development Department gathered around 500,000 printed advertisement cards, tools, and stickers along with 250 mobile phone sims during the operation. 25 illegal residents were also apprehended.

Sharjah Police CID Director Brigadier Ibrahim Al Ajill stated that the operation was done to prevent these establishments from cluttering their cards and other printed materials and placing them on parked cars, streets, with some reaching the doorsteps of apartments, villas, and private homes.

All establishments caught during the operation were issued major fines for their violations. All 250 sim cards which were printed on the business cards were ordered to be disconnected immediately.
