Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, a prominent figure in 21st-century pop culture, sent a bouquet and a stuffed toy to a Filipino kid who went viral for asking his mom for Beyoncé and declaring that she’s his friend.
“Where is Beyoncé?” asked two-year-old Tyler during a pizza date with his mom, Bea Fabregas, a host and a disc jockey in the Philippines.
The little boy spoke to his mom about wanting to visit Beyoncé, to which his mom replied, “No, we don’t know her personally. She’s not mama’s friend.” Tyler replied: “she’s our friend,” declaring that he and Beyoncé are friends. The end of the video showed the little boy jamming to one of her songs while playing with his toys.
This cute video went viral over the internet and caught the attention of international media outlets as well as artists such as SZA, and of course—Beyoncé who liked the video.

Few days later, Beyoncé’s publicist reached out to Tyler’s mother, saying “I am writing to you about the cutest video you posted with the little boy wanting to visit Beyoncé. I represent her as a publicist. Are you his family? She would love to send something to him.”
Tyler’s mother shared this update on Instagram, showing the bouquet and the stuffed toy that Tyler received from his “friend” Beyoncé.

Furthermore, Beyoncé wrote in a note that came along with the gifts, “To my friend Tyler,” she said, “I see your halo, Tyler.”
