Bea Alonzo shows off airplane cabin inspired van

Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo gave her followers a peek of her cabin-inspired taping van worth Php2 million.

On her latest Youtube vlog, Alonzo toured her fans in her so-called mobile home.

The 15-seater car of Ford costs close to Php2 million. The actress paid more due to the customization of the van.

Alonzo said that it was due to the COVID-19 pandemic that forced her to convert the car into a so-called ‘artista van’.

“I’ve been in the business for 20 years but I’ve never had an ‘artista car’ before. Well, before kasi, I never really felt like I needed one since kadalasan naman, kapag nagpupunta kami sa set, nasa tent na kami agad,” she said.

“Until nagkaroon ng COVID. And feeling ko, ngayon, it’s become a necessity para sa trabaho namin because we go to a lot of different places,” Alonzo added.

The actress said that the van served as her special place due to the virus threat.

“And now that there is already this virus going around, parang feeling ko, you really need that special place that could be your refuge away from the virus and away from everybody because ngayon, kailangan talaga natin ng social distancing,” Alonzo explained.

She also used the van whenever she visits her farm in Zambales.

“And kahit na pag pumupunta ako sa farm namin, it’s like five hours away from Manila, ayoko na sana yung bababa pa ako ng gasoline station to use the restroom, only because there is the pandemic that we are facing, ano,” the actress said.

The interior of the van showed two massaged chairs inspired by the Etihad Airways.

There are also pull outs that servr as Alonzo’s leg rest area.

Virtual assistant Alexa is also present to control the lights and blinds.

“I’m so kilig about that kasi matagal ko nang gusto. I’ve seen some artista na meron niyan inside their van. For fun. I know, hindi naman talaga kailangan na kailangan,” she said.

The vehicle also has its own entertainment system inclusing internet so that she can watch her favorite Netflix series.

A fully functioning toilet and bath, coffee station and mini fridge are also inside Alonzo’s artista van. (TDT)
