An emotional Charlene Gonzales took to Instagram to post about how she would miss her son, Andres, who is flying to Spain.
The former beauty queen shared that Andres has decided to attend college on campus there despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It was a very difficult decision to make (especially during this global pandemic for you to be on campus) but you really wanted to continue your studies on campus and as parents we will be here to support & guide you every step of the way,” she wrote.
Charlene also posted several photos of her son on her Instagram account to show how much she will miss him.
She also shared that her daughter Atasha is currently studying online in a UK university. But she will also fly to the UK to finish her studies on campus next school year.
“Ang hirap mag-let go for any mom, but going off to college will be a wonderful experience for all children. As parents, we provided them wings, but now it’s their turn to fly,” Charlene concluded.
Her husband Aga Muhlach left a sad face emoticon on Charlene’s post.
Other friends like Ruffa Gutierrez and Jen Sevilla showed their support to Charlene by giving her a virtual hug and congratulating her.
