Angillyn Gorens, the ex-girlfriend of actor Buboy Villar, cried foul after netizens accused them of being bad parents because they broke up.
In a Facebook post, Gorens lashed out against the criticisms she and Villar received after confirming their separation.
She said that comments stating that they are being irresponsible to their children because they broke up “makes zero sense.”
“People be saying me and Buboy are bad parents because we broke up? Really guys???? That makes zero sense!” she said.
Villar commented on her post, saying: “’Wag ka mag alala.. atleast alam natin ang totoo.”
Gorens added that they are doing what other responsible parents are doing, including providing financial support and love and attention to their kids.
Following their separation, Gorens said she and Villar agreed to co-parent, and worked out a system that works for all parties involved.
Buboy’s ex-girlfriend now lives in the US, and their two children are currently staying with her parents.
