Sarah Balabagan, a Filipina who was imprisoned in UAE in 1994, trended recently on her revelation claiming that the father of her first child is Kapuso newscaster Arnold Clavio.
“Ang ama po ng panganay ko ay yes, si Arnold Clavio po,” Balabagan said in a Facebook video.
Balabagan is now married with husband Jun Sereno and they have a five year-old child.
The former convict said that she had the permission from her husband to disclose her past with the Kapuso broadcaster.

“Kaya ko to ginagawa dahil after 22 years, lumabas na naman. Sabi nga nila, walang bahong hindi lalabas. Hindi naman po ako nalungkot dahil by God’s grace, masaya na ako sa buhay ko,” she said.
Balabagan’s son with Clavio is now 21 years old and she hopes that her son would understand her decision to tell her story.
“Nagkakilala kami ni Arnold nu’ng panahong ako ay nakapiit pa at dinalaw nila ako doon,” she recalled.
Balabagan also denied other personalities rumored to be the father of her child. This includes Roy Señeres, William Gatchalian and Rey Langit.
“Si ‘Kuya Arnold’ din ang kauna-unahang tao na nagpasyal sa akin sa Maynila. At siya rin ang kauna-unahang tao na nagyayang manood sa akin ng sine,” she said.
Sarah already spoke with Arnold’s wife. She also said that she was told by Arnold not to admit anything.
“Ang sabi kasi sa akin noon ni Arnold, e, walang aminan. Kahit ano raw ang mangyari, e, ‘wag akong aamin.”
“I was 17 years old nu’ng mga panahon na ‘yun at talagang napaniwala niya ako. Pero naka-move on na ako at matagal ko ng napatawad si Arnold Clavio,” she said.
The news anchor has yet to comment on Sarah’s revelation.
