This is the second time actress Alex Gonzaga and journalist / vlogger Raffy Tulfo teamed up to a nonsensical gimmickry. The first video, posted last month, pranked Alex’s parents and garnered almost 10 million views.
In this latest viral video, Alex goes grocery shopping with Tulfo, whom she fondly calls “Idol Raffy,” at a premium membership-only store in Quezon City.
With a megaphone, Alex announced Raffy’s arrival at the grocery store as she accompanies the second oldest Tulfo brother in towing the grocery cart.
There is no stopping the Kapamilya actress from teasing Tulfo and his age — asking if the box of chocolates would affect his sugar level, or if lifting a fire extinguisher can trigger his rheumatism.
When Alex asked if he needed a diaper, the journalist wasn’t quick enough to catch the joke and simply replied, “Wala akong baby.” Alex clarified, “Para sa inyo sir!” and Tulfo fired back “Sa kin? Bakit ko magda-diaper? Ok pa pantog ko!
Alex also loudly disclosed that Raffy had told him he used to steal onions, and that he once confided to Alex that he had an itch.
A blushing Raffy matter-of-factly said, “Naku, maraming nakakarinig. Hindi po totoo. Hindi talaga!”
Before leaving the grocery store, the security guard had to stop both as he politely pointed to the item in Alex’s pocket — two red peppers. “Sili lang naman yan sir. P2,000 per kilo yan. Sili lang naman,” she quipped.
The videographer followed Alex getting inside Tulfo’s armored vehicle. Raffy had to shoo Alex from joining him inside the black SUV.
