‘Miracle in Cell No.7′ surprise hit on MMFF opening day

“Miracle in Cell No.7” created a miracle on its first day of showing at the opening day of the Metro Manila Film Festival today, Christmas.

Upon hearing the good news, Aga Muhlach, who starred in the movie, vowed to go around cinemas and personally thank moviegoers for their support.

Viva Film executives were also surprised with the turnout of the film.

“Miracle in Cell No.7” was categorized as Grade A by the Cinema Evaluation Board while the MTRCB also gave a G rating.

Pep.ph reported that if the film will not change its track or trend, it has the potential to be the second top grossing film on this year’s MMFF next to Vice Ganda’s “The Mall, The Merrier.”
