Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo recently opened their first business venture together and they were asked by entertainment media on their current projects they are working on.
Padilla is set to star in his solo film soon, details remain to be confidential as of this writing.
Apart from a film, he is also preparing for his teleserye comeback with Bernardo slated next year.
The KathNiel did not do any project this year as they give each other more time to grow individually in their careers.
Bernardo teamed up with Kapuso actor Alden Richards in the film “Hello, Love, Goodbye (HLG),” which later on was declared as the highest grossing Filipino film of all time.
HLG reportedly defeated Bernardo and Padilla’s blockbuster film “The Hows Of Us” in terms of total sales.
If Bernardo is hailed as box office queen, should the title of box office king go to Alden because of Hello, Love, Goodbye?
“Hindi ba ako Box Office King? Mas marami naman akong box office. I’m just saying,” Padilla said.
Netizens and KathNiel fans lauded Padilla for his straightforward answer.
When asked if he is open to allow Bernardo to work with Richards again?
“Why not? Kung maganda yung kwento,” he said.
Padilla is reportedly set to work with Sarah Geronimo in an upcoming film.
