Actor and former MYX VJ Alex Diaz has spoken and clarified the ‘indecent proposal’ issue hounding him.
This, as he reportedly offered to have a sexual relationship with a fitness coach.
Diaz has apologized for his actions. He said he failed to convey the values he promotes online.
The Filipino-Scottish actor said that what he had done was the effect of unhealthy and toxic ‘suppression’ of who he really is as a human being.
“I would like to champion change, acceptance, and representation for the bisexual community and/or anyone who is met with prejudice in our society,” he said.
“It was not my intention to hurt anyone or elude the truth of who I am for all these years, but rather a showbiz decision based on the state of our nation in regards to acceptance and representation of who I am,” Diaz wrote on his Instagram account.
Diaz thanked everyone for reminding him that he is human too and made him feel loved.
“Never again will I be shackled by the fear of what might be said about who I am for fear of losing my career,” Diaz said.
The vlogger promised to release a statement when the time is right.
“I love you all, I have learned and I am growing. Thank you,” Diaz said.
