American actress Scarlett Johansson is the world’s highest paid actress for the second year in a row, according to Forbes’s annual ranking published Friday.
Agence France-Presse reported that the 34-year-old actress earned $15.5 million more than she did in 2018.
She earned $35 million from the commercial success of “Avengers: Endgame,” where she played the Black Widow.
Johansson is set to star in a Black Widow movie by 2020.
Comedienne Sofia Vergara, who stars in TV show “Modern Family,” is in second place $44.1 million followed by Oscar awardees Reese Witherspoon ($35 million) and Nicole Kidman ($34 million).
New names on the top ten list are: Elisabeth Moss, who stars in the series “The Handmaid’s Tale,” and Australian actress Margot Robbie.
