Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista will soon be taking over the international movie scene as she is expected to take a role in an upcoming action film abroad.
Evangelista has not yet revealed any details about the film but she did mentioned in an interview with Cinema One that it will be an international action film, which is something that is totally different from her past movie roles.
“Medyo nagulat din ako sa sarili ko but you know again, you only live once, try new things from time to time,” she said.
As of now, Evangelista is unsure if the movie will be shown in the Philippines.
Nevertheless, she said that the experience filming the action movie was “overwhelming”.
“Siyempre nakakapagod kasi iba rin ‘yung hinihingi nilang requirements sa fitness… but it feels really good to be part of something,” she said.
Evangelista revealed that she prepared physically for the role and even wakes up at around 4:00 AM to do her daily work out.
Earlier this year, Evangelista flew to China to shoot something. She also did not made any revelations about the project then and only said that she can’t wait to share it with everyone.
Many netizens speculated that she would be part of the sequel of “Crazy Rich Asians”, but Evangelista has since debunked that claim.
There are also some netizens who believe that the action film she is referring to is the modern adaptation of Disney’s “Mulan”, though this is not yet confirmed.
