Did Xian Gaza sneak out of PH to escape arrest?

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has ordered an investigation to find out if social media personality Christian Albert “Xian” Gaza was able to fly out of the Philippines despite having three warrants of arrest.

According to a now viral Facebook post of Gaza titled “PAANO LUMABAS NG BANSANG PILIPINAS NANG MAY TATLONG WARRANTS OF ARREST AT LIMANG TAONG SENTENSIYA”, he claimed that he was able to leave the Philippines and escape arrest on September 30, 2018.

Gaza said that he was able to sneak out of the Philippines by purchasing three different plane tickets, one bound for Singapore, another for Taipei and another bound for Hong Kong.

He added that he checked in online for the first two flights and waited for the check in counters to close.

After which, he then checked in for his flight to Hong Kong and boarded his flight.

He also showed photos of his passport and plane ticket with his name and date of the flight on it. Other photos show him falling in line at the immigration and boarding a plane.

The social media personality added that he was also able to pass through immigration officials because there was no hold departure order issued against him.

He claimed that he is now working on altering his identity and getting a new citizenship in a Latin American country.

Gaza also said that he only wants to show the public how easy it is to leave the country even with an arrest warrant because of its failed systems.

“Kung walang taong magsisiwalat sa mga butas ng bulok na sistema ng Pilipinas eh mauulit at mauulit lang at bukas makalawa eh may bago nanamang scammer na tatakbo palabas ng bansa. Walang ibang luhaan kundi ang mga tao at mga pamilyang nabiktima,” he wrote on the comments section.

However, his claims are not yet verified true.

To recall, Gaza has been sentenced to five years in jail last year after the Malabon Metropolitan Trial Court found him guilty beyond reasonable doubt of violating Batas Pambansa (BP) 22 or the Anti-Bouncing Checks Law.

Gaza became a trending topic on social media in 2017 when he asked actress Erich Gonzales to go on a date with him by putting up a huge billboard in Morayta, Manila.
