Megastar Sharon Cuneta will have a new addition to her long list of accolades as she is set to received an award from History Channel.
Cuneta took to Instagram to share the invitation letter she got from cable network. The invitation stated that she will be one of the recipients of this year’s History Maker Award.
“What an honor. Thank You, Jesus, for another wonderful surprise! I am overwhelmed. My heart!,” she wrote on Instagram.
According to the letter she has posted, History Maker Awards, which is in partnership with The Philippine Star, aims to “honor extraordinary Filipinos who have had a significant impact on the nation’s life and culture”.
The said award, which was launched last year has also honored Pia Wurtzbach, Anne Curtis, Hidilyn DIaz, Himalayan Adventure Team, Ryan Cayabyab, Illac Diaz, Brillante Mendoza, Reinabelle Reyes, and Romi Garduce as the inaugural awardees.
Cuneta will receive her award during a ceremony which will be held during the History Con 2018 at World Trade Center in Pasay on August 11.
