At last!
Star Cinema released Sunday the trailer for “Last Night”, the reunion movie of Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga.
In the trailer, Carmina (Toni) meets Mark (Piolo) after they rescued a man from falling off the platform of a train station. The two get closer after discovering that they are staying in the same hotel.
Pascual and Gonzaga’s last movie team-up was for the blockbuster hit “Starting Over Again” in 2014.
Gonzaga said it was the script, which was written by actress Bela Padilla, that prompted her to accept the project.
“Sabi ko okay lang ako maghintay ng matagal kasi ang tagal din naman bago kami nagkatrabaho ni PJ. Sabi ko okay akong mga 10 years maghintay. Pero nung dumating nga ‘yung materyal, siguro talagang meant to be na ‘yung pagbalik ko sa movie, kasama ko ulit si PJ. Naniniwala talaga ako sa materyal,” ABS-CBN quoted Gonzaga as saying.
‘Last Night’ is directed by Joyce Bernal and is set to be released in theaters on September 27.
