Supermodel Tyra Banks would now strut into classrooms instead of the catwalk on May next year.
The Stanford University welcomes former host of “America’s Next Top Model” and “FABLife” as a two-week guest lecturer for a business class on creating and protecting a personal brand. The class is entitled, ‘Project You: Building and Extending Your Personal Brand’. This is something new from her since she’s long been known to teach men and women how to pose and smize on America’s Next Top Model.
About 25 graduate students will receive instruction from the mogul and model on how to use media to showcase their business acumen and handle press exposure as a business leader. The class would then share their personal brands to the public through video platforms.
But Tyra tells Wall Street Journal that she would take this job very seriously. “If I see somebody not paying attention, I’m gonna call on them,” Tyra said in an interview.
