Wowowin, a weekly variety show in the Kapuso networks, is making waves on social after a contestant and a backup dancer had an onstage mishap that many netizens found entertaining.
Th said video that is currently going viral on social media shows a footage of the Willie of Fortune segment of Wowowin aired on December 18.
A male contestant of the said segment and a female backup dancer performed a ballroom dance number to Luis Fonsi’s hit song “Despacito”.
Their impromptu dance number started out well, but things got bad when the contestant started to carry his partner and lost his balance.
A Facebook Page called Posted shared the video which has now gained over 1.5 million views, 24,000 reactions, and 43,000 shares in less than 24 hours.
Some netizens even compared the videos to Kim Chiu’s similar experience on the ASAP Stage.
