The Philippine Institute for Civil Engineers in the UAE celebrated their organization’s 6th year of existence in the emirates with a free technical seminar in the morning and a funky rock and retro themed fellowship from afternoon onwards.
In attendance were Philippine Embassy Chargé d’affaires Rowena Pangilinan-Daquipil, Vice Consul Anna Guerra, Labor Attaché Atty. Ophelia Almenario, Assistant Labor Attaché Jovo Magsaysay, together with leaders from fellow engineering, architectural and other professional organizations in Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
The morning seminar took place at Universal Hospital while the afternoon events happened at Cowboy Grill at the Sheraton Khalidiyah Hotel. The whole event was organized by PICE-UAE 1st Vice President Engr. Alvin Ruiz Jr. that saw around a hundred members and guests in attendance.
The group aims to enrich the continuous education of fellow civil engineers and promotes greater camaraderie among its members.
