Former singer and actress Patricia Javier was recently victimized by the “Basag-Kotse” gang in Antipolo, Rizal.
Javier said the suspects stole pieces of jewelry, cellphone, cash and other valuable items after they smashed the windows of her car on the night of July 1, reported ABS-CBN.
Her car was parked outside a restaurant in Barangay Masinag where she had a meeting.
She said she saw a riding-in-tandem approaching her vehicle when the alarm of her SUV went off.
“Sensitive kasi ang sasakyan ko. Akala ko nasagi lang. Tapos may nakita akong 2 lalaking nakamotor sa tabi ng sasakyan, akala ko nasagi lang nila,” ABS-CBN quoted Javier.
Javier was disappointed because one of the items stolen was her diamond necklace which bore her initials. The stolen necklace was one of the things she bought during the height of her show business career.
Authorities will be checking the CCTV footage in the area to find out the identities of the suspects.
