Actress Aiko Melendez revealed on social media that she will be starring in a film with Gabby Concepcion.
In a Facebook post she shared today, June 24, she confirmed that she was offered to do a movie project with Concepcion and that it is already in the works.
“Yes, I have an offer to do a movie with Gabby Concepcion. Read the script already. International film company, but nothing is definite yet,” Melendez’ post reads.
Before her post irks Sharon-Gabby fans, Melendez clarified in the same post that the movie that she will be doing with Concepcion is different from the canceled reunion film of the former couple.
It can be recalled that Megastar Sharon Cuneta revealed last month on Instagram that “on-and-off negotiations” and “power-tripping” from Concepcion’s camp pushed her to officially drop out from their reunion movie.
“If this pushes through, no truth to the rumor that this was the same film that he was supposed to do with Ms. Sharon Cuneta. Iba po ‘to. I am also one of those people who are looking forward for their reunion movie pero hindi po ‘tong project na gagawin po namin, if ever. Kaya ‘wag po kayo magalit,” she wrote.
In an interview with PEP.ph, Melendez revealed that Korean producers will manage the production of the film. However, details about the film and her involvement are still under negotiations.
