The 13 contestants of Bayanihan’s Mutya ng Kasarinlan 2018 paid a visit at the residence of the Philippine Ambassador to the UAE, H.E. Constancio R. Vingno Jr, with his spouse, Mme Yoko Ramos Vingno, head of the Philippine Ladies Circle in Abu Dhabi. In attendance during the courtesy call were TFT Fashion Designer of the Year 2017 and United Cebuanos – Abu Dhabi chapter President Aldwin Jlo Ornopia, Mutya ng Kasarinlan 2018 Event Director Egie “Kawaii” Esma, Bayanihan chairman Elmer Ocampo Casao and Vice chairman Ron Precilla.
The Mutya ng Kasarinlan 2018 is part of the 120th Philippine Independence Day Celebrations in Abu Dhabi, headed by the United Cebuanos – Abu Dhabi chapter. The main event will take place on the June 29 in the evening at the Abu Dhabi National Theatre.
