Over 14,000 mobile phones, 11,000 watches, 639 laptops were recovered by the lost and found department under Dubai Police, information was disclosed by Colonel Rashid Bin Safwan, director of the department.
Under his supervision, the lost and found department recovered 1,217 cameras as well as a range of items that includes jet ski, LCD TV, university degrees and cash, reported Khaleej Times.
In accordance with the Law No. (5) of 2015 Concerning Disposition of Lost and Found Property, that was issued by the His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, the department has initiated the return of the lost items to their respective owners.
