The Dubai Garden Glow (DGG), now on its third season, has launched the emirate’s first ice park featuring ice sculptures of Dubai’s famous landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, Dubai Airports, Clock Tower, and Sheikh Zayed Mosque.
To visit the ice park, an additional Dh40 will be charged on top of the Dh60 DGG entrance fee. Thermal jackets will be available at the ticket counter of the Ice Park.
Besides the ice sculpture exhibit, DGG will also feature art installations inspired by Dubai’s official hashtag #MyDubai, giant colorful lanterns, illuminated animal and wildlife sculptures, a dinosaur park, and an underwater wonderland.
DGG even posted a Tagalog teaser to excite Kabayans for this season:
The ice sculptures on display will be maintained in a –8°C environment, Gulf News reported.
The Ice Park, located in the DGG, Zabeel Park Area B will be opened to the public this weekend.
