A tricycle driver was stabbed to death on September 12 in Tondo, Manila after he refused to give P20 pesos to a man.
The victim was identified as 34-year-old Rowell Luna while the suspect was identified as Diosdado Alvero, or mostly known to the area as “Baga”.
At 9:30 P.M. Alvero approached Luna, who was waiting for a passenger at Gate 3, Parola, then asked him to lend him P20.
Luna declined to give P20 to Alvero and laughed at him instead while giving him a hug.
Alvero was insulted with Luna so he went home and grabbed a 12-inch knife to stab Luna. Alvero then came back to Luna then stabbed him two times before fleeing the area.
Luna was rushed to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center but he died while receiving medication at 10:48 P.M.
