Let its mysterious and haunting aura inspire you to reflect and learn more about yourself.
2. Mount Apo
Whether you climb Mount Apo or just view it from below, there is something so regal about the largest mountain in the Philippines. 3. Batanes
It may not be cheap to fly to Batanes, but it will definitely be worth all your time and effort. This beautiful province is located on the northern most tip of the Philippines, and it is composed of three major islands and seven islets. The moment you step into Batanes Island, you will be transported to a whole new world because of how the Spaniards’ influence is still so evident in its architecture. With its green pastures and stunning beaches, Batanes is a place you’ll never want to leave.
4. Oslob
Oslob is one of those hidden gems in the Visayas region. Located in Cebu, it is an island with picturesque beaches that will take your breath away. If you haven’t fallen in love with the beauty of the island, you can try to find yourself in the waters as you have the opportunity to swim right beside the majestic whale sharks.
5. Palaui Island, Cagayan
The island of Palaui in Cagayan is a marvel still mostly undiscovered by tourists. It was the setting of two seasons of the popular US reality TV series, Survivor. In 2010, it was named one of the world’s 100 best beaches by CNN. Most of the island is made up of grasslands and mountain ranges, good for trekking and hiking. A nice site to visit on the island is Cape Engaño as well as Cape Engaño Lighthouse at its summit.
