Presidential candidate and senator Manny Pacquiao has reiterated his call to build a mega prison for corrupt officials.
“First month, second month, third months of my service, I was already preparing the plan for constructing a mega prison,” Pacquiao said during the debate organized by CNN Philippines.

“I want to see the thieves in government in prison,” he said.
Pacquiao also said that he wants a law denying bail to those who are guilty of committing corrupt activities.

“If the case is plunder, let’s pass a law that there will be no pardon so that imprisonment will be for life,” he said.
Pacquiao vows to end the endemic corruption in the country. This is also one of the main reasons why the former boxing champion turned senator eyes the country’s top post.
