Paid parking in Dubai will continue to remain free on Fridays from the new year.
Public parking would be a paid service on the new Saturday-Sunday weekend while free parking on Fridays and public holidays will remain in place “until further notice”.
This comes in consonance with the new official workweek of the UAE.
This follows as Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced new operating hours for the Metro, tram, vehicle testing centers, service centers and Floating Bridge closure.
The new timings will become effective from Monday, January 3, 2022.
