The reopening of Al Rigga Night Market delighted Dubai residents, particularly Filipinos.
Pinoys could be seen strolling from 4 pm in the market, which reopened last November 23 after being closed for a few months.
Beside other Asian food, the night market offers a huge selection of Filipino street food favorites.

“You not only get the flavor of local foods but also the essence of the cultures they represent. If you want to have first-hand experience of the Filipino culture, you must visit Rigga, which is considered as a slice of the Philippines,” said Gemma, a local resident.
Vendors at the market also sell retail products such as clothes, accessories, etc.
“Al Rigga is one of the few places in Dubai where we Filipinos can eavesdrop on each other’s gossip. And the Al Rigga Night Market provides a perfect venue for it,” said another Filipino resident, who didn’t want to be named.
