Vice President and presidential aspirant Leni Robredo said that she is ready to submit herself to drug testing but questioned other presidential bets who are doing it on a particular schedule.
She said scheduled drug testing is self-serving.

“Ako, anytime naman pero sa akin kasi…dapat sana iyong pagpapa-drug test random—unannounced. Unannounced kasi alam naman natin na mas maigi na random, mas maigi na unannounced para nakukuha mo kung ano talaga iyong tunay na sitwasyon,” Robredo said.
“So parang self-serving kasi kung magsa-submit ako for a drug test. Pero anytime na may lumapit sa akin na mag-request na mag-undergo ako, go ako anytime,” she added.

The vice president said that random drug testing can be done by public and private agencies as long as they are qualified.
Some presidential bets took on the challenge of submitting themselves to drug testing after President Duterte’s claims of a cocaine-using presidential candidate.
