A 50-year old man sustained an injury after he was hacked by his drinking buddy using a bolo early Wednesday morning in Quezon province.
The man, identified as Luis Perez, was attending a birthday party in Sariaya town and was having a drink with Joven Reñon when they got into a heated argument, reported INQUIRER.net.

Reñon then repeatedly hacked Perez using a bolo at around 12:15 a.m. and later fled the scene.
Perez sustained injuries and was rushed to the Lucena United Doctors Hospital and Medical Center. He was later transferred to Quezon Medical Center for further treatment.
The manhunt operation against Reñon is still ongoing as authorities continue to investigate the incident. (NM)
