A woman in Antwerp, Belgium, has been barred from entry into the zoo after an affair with a chimpanzee.
The woman made the startling revelation that she had a 4-year-long affair with a chimpanzee at a zoo.
Adie Timmermans said that she ran an affair with Chita, the chimpanzee at the zoo and the two used to interact from the glass partition between them and blow kisses at one another.

The zoo decided to ban the woman as authorities believed that Chita’s closeness to Adie was harming his relationship and bonding with the other chimpanzees there and hindering his growth with them.
Reacting to the ban, Adie said, that she loved the animal and “he loves me” and they were having an affair. She added that she was feeling discriminated against and does not agree with the zoo’s decision.
However, the zoo authorities said that when Chita is constantly busy with visitors the other monkeys ignore him and don’t consider him part of the group. (AW)
