The Voice Kids champion Lyca Gairanod bravely answers the question if she is getting envious over the success of her competitor and first-runner up Darren Espanto.
Both singers joined the reality singing competition in 2014 with Lyca winning the contest but it was Darren who had more breaks and opportunities.

“Proud po ako kay Kuya Darren kung ano yung nararating niya,” she said in an interview with Karen Davila.
Lyca said that she thought Darren would win the contest. Lyca added that she and Darren are friends.
“Sobrang saya ko po kasi pinapahalagahan ni Kuya Darren kung ano meron ako. Deserving kaming lahat. Thankful ako si Kuya Darren di ako pinabayaan,” she said.

In the same interview, Lyca also revealed why she decided to sell the house that she won from the competition.
“Marami rin pong memories sa napanalunang bahay. Pero para kay lola, gusto niya kami makasama kaso malayo po kami. Dinala namin siya doon pero umuwi. Ayaw niya po talaga doon. Nandito kaluluwa ko. Pilit niya kong binabalik,” Lyca said. (TDT)
