The Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced recently that free parking will be available near COVID-19 vaccination centres for visitors.
The RTA said that this move highlighted the need to encourage residents to come and get vaccinated in the country’s efforts to “accelerate the return to normal life”.
As many as 50 parking spaces will be available near each vaccination centre, the authority said.
The designated free parking spaces that will be made available to the people include: Hor Al Anz, Al Barsha and Al Qusais health centres, and the Grand Hyatt Hotel Tent – all during the working hours.
Signboards have been placed at the designated parking lots and the free parking programme will continue to remain in place until all eligible Dubai residents have been vaccinated,” the RTA stated.
