A man in Pateros has been arrested by the police after he posted on social media a threatening photo of him holding a grenade, which was described as a World War II explosive.
The man, who was identified as Eddii Cervales, shared on his Facebook story a photo of him with the grenade. He captioned it ‘Damay damay na ito’.
He admitted that he was under the influence of alcohol at that time.
The Pateros police tracked him down and they arrested him.
Cervales said he posted the photo out of anguish when he caught his partner having a supposed affair with another man.
The vintage explosive was confiscated from him.
He is facing charges of illegal possession of explosives.
