Civic leader Teresita Ang-See revealed that some 100,000 Chinese POGO workers received their coronavirus vaccine in the country even without approval from the Food and Drug Administration or FDA.
“Nag-umpisa pa ‘yan ay November sa mga news, advertisement, social media chat tungkol sa mga nagpapabakuna (na Chinese POGO workers), the biggest number ay itong December lang na 98,000 ang nagpabakuna,” Ang-See said in a press briefing.

She added that the vaccine used for the POGO workers came from China.
Some of the POGO workers who got vaccinated still contracted the virus, Ang-See added. The Chinese community leader also said that getting unregistered vaccines remains illegal.

“It’s a Chinese vaccine, dalawa lang naman at more on the private source, at ang lumalabas is privately manufactured (ang ginamit na bakuna),” she added.
The news comes after public outrage over the vaccination of some members of the Presidential Security Group. (TDT)
