Two buses where several athletes were onboard met an accident on Saturday afternoon hours before the opening ceremony of the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games at the Philippine Arena.
The incident happened at the Bocaue exit in North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) in Bulacan, according to the initial report that reached the SEA Games Monitoring Center in Camp Crame.
A sudden break from the front convoy resulted to the crash of Bus #40 and Bus #42.
Both buses have athletes from Laos and Vietnam.
There were no reported hurt during the incident.
