For Kapamilya actress Shaina Magdayao, before she can love wholeheartedly, she needs to be whole again first.
The actress has been single for quite some time now, according to an interview with the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP).
Magdayao, in the video interview, said she has been working on herself.
“As clichè as it sounds, pero importante kasi maging buo ka muna bago mo maibibigay sa isa pang tao yung pagmamahal na yun. And sa lahat ng mga nangyari sa’kin, I’ve been consumed. Di ba? Parang, nagbigay ka nang nagbigay, siyempre, mauubos ka rin,” she said.
Magdayao added that at the end of the day she had to prioritize herself after what had happened.
For her, she wanted to be whole when the time comes for the right one to come along.
Her last known relationship was with actor John Lloyd Cruz in 2012.
Magdayao is currently working on her role in the Kapamilya teleserye “Nang Ngumiti ang Langit”.
