An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Australia is complaining about missing documents sent to his wife.
Erwin De Lara said he sent a letter with a deed of sale of their house to his wife in Pampanga through regular mail courier last March.
De Lara said that he was informed that the document would arrive in the country in three weeks’ time.
But after a few months, nothing was delivered to his wife.
The OFW said that requesting another document is costly on his part.
‘Tapat Na Po’ asked the help of Philippine Postal Corporation (PhilPost) but it admitted that it cannot do anything since the mail was sent through regular courier and has no tracking number.
PhilPost said that it will do everything to find the missing document, but it is still a long shot.
The postal agency reminded Filipinos not to resort to manual ways in sending important documents just to save money.
