Filipino National Artist-Inspired font now available to download for free

If you’ll ask a Filipino to name a few of the national artists in the country, either some could name a few or none at all.

So in order to have people remember them, Ayala Museum and J. Walter Thompson introduced Obra Typeface, a Filipino National Artist-Inspired new font.

Launched in May, the first of a series of fonts pays tribute to Abdulmari Asia Imao.

The artist is best known for his indigenous ukkil, sarimanok and naga motifs that we know of today.

His popular works are also showcased in the font Imao.otf.

So, show Filipino pride and use it on your smartphones, your paper, shirts, hoodies, fancy dresses or anywhere you like.

To download, you just have to visit obratypeface.com and it’s for free.
